Jeff Heijne (b. 1992) is a Dutch flamenco guitarist and composer. He studied flamenco guitar at the Amsterdam Conservatory under Eric Vaarzon Morel and took courses with masters such as Manolo Sanlúcar and Tomatito. In his own compositions he explores the borders between flamenco, rock and classical music. He has performed at venues including the Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven and the Bimhuis, and in 2018 won the YAA Award, with which he made his second album, Reflejos del Alma.
The solo concert
Alone with his guitar, Jeff takes the audience through his own music, with pieces from his album Reflejos del Alma and the singles Reminiscencia and Magnolia. It is flamenco without singing, in which the raw power of rock and the intimacy of classical music resonate.

Biography
Jeff Heijne (b. 1992) completed a unique bachelor’s and master’s degree in flamenco guitar at the Amsterdam Conservatory, with flamenco guitarist Eric Vaarzon Morel as his principal teacher. Alongside his studies he took courses with widely respected flamenco guitarists such as Manolo Sanlúcar, José Antonio Rodríguez, Manolo Franco, Paco Serrano and Tomatito.
He toured Spain with the Pablo Martinez Flamenco Jazz Band, performed with cellist Mascha van Nieuwkerk on the main stage of the Uitmarkt, toured the Netherlands with the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble’s ‘Troubadours’, and wrote the flamenco guitar music for the musical De Man van La Mancha starring Huub van der Lubbe. He has played venues such as the Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, Ahoy and the Bimhuis.
In 2018 Jeff was one of five winners of the YAA Award (Young Artsupport Amsterdam). With the prize money he independently produced his second album, Reflejos del Alma (‘reflections of the soul’): a musical journey through the world of an idiosyncratic guitarist who blurs the boundaries between flamenco and other musical styles. In his self-written compositions he tells of experiences that shaped him as a person and as a guitarist, taking on stereotypes, existing conventions and themes such as loneliness, love and escaping reality.
Alongside his solo work, Jeff has been lead guitarist of The Dutch Bryan Adams since 2026.
